for example, change to the pattern for MS Word DOC files C:\MY FOLDER\*.DOC

  • Change the item if needed manually and click "Add" button

OR

  • Double-click item in the list box, and standard "File Open" dialog box appears for the folder where selected item is located

  • Select one or several files to be added to the list box and click Open button

To remove the item from the list of my custom items:

  • Select item or several items from the list of my custom items
  • Click "Remove" button to add selected item to the list of my custom items

Note:

To add pattern, type or select file or folder first, and then add or change some symbols for system symbols (*, ?).

Command behaves like standard deletion (del) command in OS, i.e. you typed pattern C:\TEMP\*.tmp, all files with extension TMP will be destroyed in a folder C:\TEMP, and then mask *.TMP will be applied to all subfolders of C:\TEMP folder, i.e. if there are subfolders which name ends with .TMP, this mask will be applied to their contents and matched files are zdeleted, and so on recursively. If there are subfolders in C:\TEMP, but their name does not have .TMP at the end, their contents will NOT be processed and even there are .TMP files inside, they will NOT be zdeleted.

Examples:

C:\MY FOLDER\*.DOC - pattern for all files with extension DOC located in C:\MY FOLDER

C:\MY DOCUMENTS\MyFile.txt- single text file located in C:\MY DOCUMENTS

C:\TEMP\*- All files together with subfolders located in C:\TEMP will be destroyed
